Jews aren't all over the place trying to shove some disgusting notion in everybody's face like homosexuals are.
Heterosexuals shove disgusting notions in people's faces on a daily basis. The thought of 2 fat, redneck Walmart shopping heterosexuals having sex makes me want to vomit.
They are entitled to all of the rights of other citizens, including marriage....as long as it's a gay man and a gay woman getting married.
Stupid failed argument is stupid. It's such a stupid argument, lawyers arguing against same-sex marriage refuse to use it. I'm sure you'd have no issue marrying someone you had absolutely no interest in right?
Our constitution protects the smallest minority of all---the individual. This includes individual gays.

4% is not accurate at all. Out of 1,500 people, there might be one hiding. I don't even think there is one. They aren't brave enough to show themselves.
There are fewer than 4%, but they're hiding, because actually there aren't any at all, due to the fact that besides not existing, they're not "brave enough to show themselves"? That must be some good moon-shine you got there, Billy-Bob.

Do you really believe that there are loads of gays in 1,500 people? Many of which are kids under 18 and still in school, farmers, skilled tradesmen, firemen, police officers, a few school teachers etc..? I think that '77 Trans Am and the guns we own and carry scares most off, don't you think? I'd love to see the gay farmer hop up on his John Deere. As John Wayne would say..."that'll be the day"!
It's probably due to the disproportional amount of press gays get. For example, deaf people get very little press but comprise a similar percent of our population.

Statistically, it's almost a given that the gay population is in the double digits, likely the high double digits, but that's not what I responded to. The lack of internal logic in your post amused me, is all.

Why would gays be scared of muscle cars and firearms? The insistence almost smacks of - overcompensation.

If deaf people were kept from marrying, they might feel the need to assert themselves more forcefully, don't you think?
The average American isn't that educated or worldly. A lot of people haven't bothered to educate themselves. Only a little more than a quarter have a college degree. That's one of the lowest rates of any first world country.
Plenty of them think that Jesus rode on a dinosaur to church not long ago. I'm not surprised that people don't have an idea for how many gay people there are in the country.
From how popular any thread about gays seems to be on this forum it appears to me that the 25% number may be right. However, I pretty well know all those who get wound out about gayety although many of them are not gay but just left leaners wanting to take part and appear to be that way.
