You wish, Roy. But there is a visible difference between sheer hatred and disagreement, which speaks far more than any claims or defense would.

I get that, I've made similar comments.

However, the racism charge is being aimed at ALL republicans (several threads here in the last month) and was leveled (links in post #46) vs. Hillary supporters and even Hillary and Bill themselves during the 2008 primaries.

As such, there are some that have earned the charge as well as many that have not....it's the latter that is becoming so prevalent and IMO damaging that it's definitely caught my attentiion and anger.

Allow me to cut the chase... How much do you think racism has played, and continues to, in Obama's opposition?
1- Not at all
2- Less than advertised
3- As advertised
4- More than advertised

Whom is advertising? What is the topic? I think those are key qualifiers.

Clearly he is facing more racially motivated opposition when it comes to immigration topics. (as an example)
Clearly dems are more likely to see opposition to Obama as irrational and thus born of some other motivating force and reps are more likely to be exactly the opposite and thus more myopic to such events. (Basic partisan blindness on both sides)

I've already shown how even Bill and Hillary were attacked from some sectors are racist in 2008. Dear god, if they went after those two....you expect some sort of fair treatment of another party on the topic? lol.

We already widely mock the birthers around here and the teaparty types get called out too. It's also important IMO to smack around the people crying racism at the drop of the hat and creating threads calling large swaths of people racists unsupportably.

Now please comment on my links in post #46 where Djaques was claiming it was just racist whites in WV that were called out as racists during the 2008 primaries. Nope. They called out NH, the Clintons and much much more.....

It's not just the racist segment of the teaparty that has no shame....

Funny, live concerned with hatred now, after 8 years of crapping on Bush.

Hint: I know you want to avoid answering the question, to pretend his race is a non-issue in his opposition.

^^^ EinsteinsGhost, it's hard to get straight talk out of Republicans. They like to avoid watershed moments at all cost.

What do you think of a sign that claims Obama will enslave White people?
Your assessment sounds dead on...

^^^ One of the most ignorant posts I've read in a while. Your attempt to marginalize and entire race of people speaks volumes to your character...

You hit the nail on the head...No miss there... I'm pretty sure he believes calling Obama those things is ok...
