All I can say is wow. Making fun of somebody's weight is something kindergarden kids do, but I never saw how a kid of any age could make fun of somebody being poor. (Sad to say, there are people like that even in middle school. I remember some people made fun of how I didn't have a computer or video game system back in those grades). I mean, obviously buying a purse at a supermarket doesn't make you poor, but still. (Goes to show you how spoiled these kids are too)

Those kids threatened her. There was nothing she could have done or said without putting herself in danger. She said that kind of nonsense had been reported before and nothing was done about it

Schools won't do anything, and parents will defend their little darlings. Back in my school bus riding days, the driver would have smacked us up the side of the head and thrown us off to walk home. And our parents would have defended the driver.
