It was in the article as originally posted. And pointed out in post 8 of this thread.
Funny, you had to edit post #8 to include that information. Perhaps that information was only included after I linked to the article. But regardless, why the heck do you care? Just because the pool administration changed its mind does not negate the fact that it decision was controversial. And, as many posts on this thread illustrate, the decision to reverse the pool's first decision is now also controversial.
So, just because we have Puritanical double standard customs dating back centuries, that means we have to put up with them in the 21st century?
I dont think so.
Glad we both agree that women should be allowed to walk around topless. Seems like one of the few things we agree on.
How bizarre. Without breasts, there's nothing to cover up, as her picture clearly shows.
"A woman who survived breast cancer after a double mastectomy has been told by a government parks department she is not allowed to swim topless. Jodi Jaecks underwent the surgery in 2011 which has left her flat-chested, with two thin scars where her nipples once lay. The Seattle Parks and Recreation department has refused to let the 45-year-old swim topless, despite suffering from nerve pain across her chest and neck, a common side effect of mastectomies.
As far as I am concerned, everyone can go topless.
Oh, I agree. However, I wouldn't want to be part of the first wave on this. Having to put up with the ogling of people like Dale would be a real pain. Would take a generation or two for it to be considered normal practice.
Stop the presses! First time ever I agree with this poster.
And they wonder why we laugh at them.
What, no inane mumblings about "unemployed" interior designers from you?
I'm shocked, I tell you, shocked.
