Well I happen to agree with you that the OP is wrong. The walk out is political just like every other walk out I can remember…
And no need to explain linear… I’m not an uneducated teabaggger…
NO! The walkout is NOT political. It is racial, just like nearly everything the Congressional Black Caucasians do. Everything in life comes down to race with them. Everything. Judging from your posts around here, the same thing goes with you.
One simply has to go back and look at the many, many comments and actions of the Congressional Black Caucasians to see that.
If Holder was white, the CBC would not have staged this. They may vote against the Contempt charge, but they wouldnt make this type of statement if it wasnt racial with them. They are racists, plain and simple.
"If you don't like what they're doing vote them out if they represent your district... "
What a novel idea!
Is it ok if I register my dismay at their actions aside from voting against them...if they are not in my district. Of course with gerrymandered districts the barely functioning dems like Pelosi will be assured of continue disservice to our country.
Look up one level to find the problem and you will see it is the electorate that votes these losers in each cycle.
Together they represent the legislation I have to live by whetehr in my district or not.
It is there to help promote values that certain members (Black) of their base want that would otherwise go unrepresented.
Why isn't there a CWC? You don't need one. As the majority of the members in Congress, there is no question that your ideals and requests in the interest of white people will be represented. There are probably several people in this country that don't care about an issue if it doesn't affect them, and some of those people are in Congress.
Whether this is "racist" or not, I can't say. As a black man, it certainly seems odd to me that a group of black men walked out when the status of another black man is being voted on. Then again, this has never happened before, so we don't know what would've happened if it was a member of another race. Also, what would the black people that look up to them say? Remember this is politics. You have to appease those who vote for you in order to remain in office.

Sense the CBC is racist in “your opinion” where’s the prejudice, where’s the hate, where’s the bigotry? Fighting for what is right doesn’t make one a racist! I guarantee that today’s protest is more racially diverse (White, Black, Asian, Hispanic) then the homogeneous, agenda driven opposition to Holder… Your stance on this position was expected…

Yes, and it's pretty sad that the first contempt vote for an AG was politically motivated...

WASHINGTON -- Attorney General Eric Holder says the vote finding him in contempt of Congress was a politically motivated act in an election year.
Holder says that Rep. Darrell Issa (EYE'-suh), who leads the House committee investigating a flawed gun-smuggling investigation, and others have focused on politics over public safety.
