It IS a tax. Period. If it is not, then it is unconstitutional according to the recent decision. Obamas lawyer made a case for it to be a tax and that is why it was upheld. Now the liar in chief wants to put words in the mouths of the justices to serve his own purposes and keep the truth from the American people once again. Unbelievable!
lets face it, it is more money out of peoples pockets and the poor will also have to pay.

You don't have to pay the penalty. Just get health insurance and not mooch of everybody else. You don't have to get the parking ticket, just don't park in the handicap spot. If you decide to not pay the parking ticket, the fine increases. Is that fine increase a tax or a fine? It's a fine. If you don't have car insurance, you'll be penalized. Is that penalty a tax? Of course not.

And, those penalized (free riders) will still be able to walk into an ER and receive service. Again, this is 2% of the population.

I guess you're good with people not contributing their fair share. Listen to Mitt explain it very well.
Typically those who can afford it but not get it are the youth. They don't need it and need their money more to pay their bills.

If they don't use the facilities then wouldn't their "fair share" be zero ?

Just what is the demographic for these people who can afford it but don't get it ?
They are not the chronic sick. They could very well be illegals for all you know.

If you have insurnce, nothing changes, if you can't afford insurance you are now covered and if you can afford insurance and don't get it (2% of the population) you'll pay a fine which is less than the cost of health insurance.

Just who is not getting insurance and mooching off of everyone else ?

What doctor treats you and asks for no money ?

What data do you have to back up your assertions ?

I'm sure the WH laundry is doing double time this week. Every person in this administration and re-election campaign must have crapped their pants after the euphoria of the ruling wore off.

The youth can now stay on their parents plan up until 26 so much of that issue has been resolved. The fact is, we all use the facitilities. How many people do you know that have NEVER been to the hospital? That's a total strawman.

Oh they are celebrating. There's nothing to fear. Congress will not say anything.
Do you forget that Pelosi ran the House when this passed. Do you think ANYONE is going to question Pelosi regarding this ? I'm sure Pelosi has this covered. Afterall it was Pelosi, Reid and Obama that had those meetings to get this all together.

Give it up. This is a done deal and blessed by the Supreme Court.

ER visits are guaranteed and that's how people game the system. ER's can not turn people away. You don't know this? Dude, change the channel once in a while.
