This entire thread is a lie.

The DNC is not sponsoring or authorizing or otherwise associated with the Islamic event.

And Cardinal Dolan will offer a closing blessing at both the Republican and Democratic conventions.

People would do well to NOT believe everything they hear from Glenn Beck.

Women are NOT equal under Islam. Allah said so in the Koran.

So, Democrats (and, ostensibly, Republicans as well?) should only be in favor of religious freedom for religions that they prefer? Is that what you're saying?

Women are NOT equal under several flavors of Christianity, too, if you go by a more strict/traditional interpretation.

So the Dem mantra about equality is all BS? I thought so. THAT IS WHAT THIS THREAD IS ACTUALLY ABOUT!

Where did you get that from my post?

Again, please respond to the points in my earlier post. I've quoted it 3 more times for you - should be easy to find....

Why are you Dems so adamant that the DNC has nothing to do with this ?
You should be defending the DNC and DNCC and standing up for the Muslims and their right to hold events right before the DNC convenes rather than distancing yourselves and trying to deny that the DNC has nothing to do with this.

The Dems supposedly represent the underdog and persecuted and the Muslims sure fit that description.
You'll defend their right to build a mosque near the 911 site yet you won't embrace their events during the DNC convention.

HYPOCRITE is the only word that comes to mind.

Your quote is misinformation.

The DNC didn't authorize the Jumah events.

Here are a list of events. The convention committee in Charlotte approved the Jumah events' inclusion in the list of events coinciding with this years Democratic National Convention. The city of Charlotte provided the necessary permits and licenses that the events required.

The DNC only authorized events actually held at the convention. The Jumah events are at a separate location, not at the convention.

Not even close. We're talking America here and current interpretation.
