I'm African-American and in my opinion most racism in this country is from other African-Americans. I've come to the conclusion that blacks in this country are just all around ignorant and racist. And they think it's okay. It's definitely the majority of AA who are like this. The minority - like me - are the smart and intelligent ones. The rest are filled with issues and I simply do not care to make excuses for them. A grown adult has no business acting like they do towards other races. Especially whites. White hatred is very very high in the black community. They cry racism all the time and act like the victims. But they make movies, tv shows, and music with anti-white blatantly racist comments and it's sickening. I've had it up to here with blacks.
Well it always will mean something to racists (i.e. those who believe everything is defined by race). To the rest of us, race is no more a factor than the birthplace of your ancestors, and I couldn't even begin to tell you where my neighbours families came from. It's simply not an issue.
I always find these kumbaya moments interesting.
I wonder if these Color blind people are the exceptional Americans who actually have CLOSE friendships which mirror the FULL ethnic diversity of this country? Do they work in an environment where the professional and management level people mirror the diversity of the USA. And I don't mean the odd tokens= or two? I mean environments where approximately 25% are either black or Hispanic.
If this is not the case I will be curious to find out why if most people are blind to nationality, ethnicity and race.
outside of the central valley, all of the racism and ignorance I have experienced has been from whites. in the central valley of California, Mexicans feel emboldened to discriminate against and disrespect other races because of their numbers, but they learned from the best. as far as Asians, the only time I have ever had a seriously racist experience dealing with Asians was in the south central area of Los Angeles. we deal a lot with Asian businesses and have lived in asia, but I can't think of a single incident that I would chock up to racism rather than anti American sentiments or just mistrust of outsiders. they aren't "PC" though. I once had a Korean woman tell me my daughter was so beautiful, because she is light skin. I was embarrassed for her, so I just smiled. so glad my son wasn't with us.

I like Jamie Foxx. He was good in Django and even better in Ray.
Liberals don't really care about black Americans. If they gave any damn at all, they would do something about the 38% black youth unemployment rate. And that wouldn't mean bringing in millions of cheap foreign workers and letting them grab up all the jobs.
