And, of course, when people cannot marry, they are denied all the emotional and social benefits and responsibilities of marriage as well.
how exactly does a piece of paper give you emotional and social benefits?

If I married my GF today, I would feel exactly the same tomorrow.

don't you think this point is a little sentimental, to say the least?

so do you mean to say then , that two men should be able to marry, whether they are homosexual or not?

What would be the point in that?

I have nothing against the word "homosexual."

I have a problem with bigots who want to make same sex marriage "different" and separate from heterosexual marriage.

Why can't it just be "marriage?" A union between two consenting adults who love each other and who want to make a life, a home, and perhaps, a family together?

No. And, for the record, that is a really stupid question.

Stopped reading here.

1 - Artificial insemination

2 - Adoption

3 - Surrogate mother

Three ways homosexual couples can have children.

Can a man and a woman marry whether they are heterosexual or not?
Can a bi-sexual woman marry a heterosexual man?

No. And, for the record, that is a really stupid question.

Love is not a requirement for marriage.

Gays cannot make a family together.

A home and life can be made whether married or not.

so what is the point in this idealistic piece of paper?

Definitely seems a little "out of this world."

Maybe the "star" in the name should have given it away, although I have no idea what a "stargazzer" is.

"StarGAZER," yes. But I have no clue what a "starGAZZER" is.

Yes they can in both cases.

but there is a major obvious difference - and I'm sure you can work that one out.

Don't move the goalposts.

Calling it 'heterosexual marriage' or 'homosexual marriage' is incorrect. It may not be heterosexuals or homosexuals getting married.

Two homosexuals could have a 'heterosexual marriage'.
Two heterosexuals could have a 'homosexual marriage'.

It would be stupid to use those terms.

Any gay man or woman can marry someone of the opposite sex - so they already have equality.

and guess what - love is not a requirement for marriage anyway.

So the tired old whine from the SSM crowd of 'gays should be allowed to marry the person they love' is just a completely moot point.

It has no value.
