There indeed were prisoners.
I read somewhere that Brits who had previously been on the ground in Benghazi, confirmed there had been prisoners. Sorry, I don't have a link handy for it.

It's a cover-up, remember? Ham contradicted Panetta and suddenly retired. Of course the Pentagon was going to say it was unrelated.

Hmmm. Seems that General Ham is still on the job:

allAfrica.com: Tunisia: U.S. General Carter F. Ham Debates in Tunis Means to Fight Against Extremist Forces

"“There’s been a lot of rumor and speculation, particularly in the blogosphere, about General Ham,” he said. “And that speculation and those rumors are absolutely, categorically false.”
“He will continue to lead Africa Command,” he said, “and he is on the job, doing it effectively, and we expect him to do so until he retires and transitions to General Rodriguez -- if General Rodriguez is confirmed by the United States Senate.”"

The military knew about it..5 or 6 top military commanders have been reassigned from over there to desk jobs over here.
Petraeus has had his tangles with this administration and I think he would have told what happened to Congress.
His abrupt resignation and public flogging in the press is a nice message to anyone with knowledge of what happened in Benghazi.

Please note my first sentence..MY conspiracy theory on this.
This is how I connected the dots.
Not just yours. There is reason why we had those guys over in Libya in cahoots with AQ. There is a reason why Hillary went up a few days after this happened to ask for more money to be sent to Libya. It aint to help the po widdle people either. Gotta get those guns to Syria.

They just pulled an appointment for another military guy this morning. He too has been under investigation since 2010 for affairs.
That is why all this is a big smoke screen put out to keep him from testifying. Everybody has dirt on each other and will use it if need be. The powers that be needed to pull out their dirt on him. Question is will he just go away now like they want him to? I wonder if his family has been threatened and on and on. Wouldn't surprise me in the least.

These guys all lie at the drop of a hat. All a big game to them. Guy serves his country his entire life like Petraues and eh he's gotta go. No big deal to these fools.
