This goes back to Barney Frank and his sudden decision not to run for re election. And others. He's a political ***** and his job is everything to him but he retires. I wonder what the FBI had on him and why both parties seem to benefit and suffer in an increasing state of dysfunction and partisanship. Its like a poorly scripted and choreographed professional wrestling melodrama.

This is what years of service to your country get you when you become a politician. Yes the director of the CIA, like the joing chiefs, are politicians. Obama and co. using their Chicago ways kneecap the general, tarnish him forever, just to keep him from testifying with his senate comrades right along with him. It's beyond pathetic what these people do in DC. I recall some liberals running around screaming how having an affairs was no bid deal, trashing a blue dress wearing intern while they were at it.

FBI investigating emails between ISAF Commander Gen. Allen & Jill Kelley.

"The FBI probe into the sex scandal that led to the resignation of CIA director David Petraeus has expanded to ensnare Gen. John R. Allen, the commander of U.S. and NATO troops in Afghanistan, the Pentagon announced early Tuesday
.
According to a senior U.S. defense official, the FBI has uncovered between 20,000 and 30,000 pages of “potentially inappropriate” emails between Allen and Jill Kelley, a 37-year-old Tampa woman whose close friendship with Petraeus ultimately led to his downfall. Allen, a Marine, succeeded Petraeus as the top allied commander in Afghanistan in July 2011."

All the usual nonsense from this unamed official or that. All to muck up the waters. The goal was to keep the general from testifying which they have done now the rest is all crap tossed against the wall.

Bizarre Twist: Key FBI Agent on Case Actually Sent ‘Shirtless Photos’ to Petraeus Friend

"And while the FBI was looking into a number of harassing emails from Petraeus’ alleged mistress Paula Broadwell to a family friend of the former four-star general and delving into the head of the CIA’s personal life, the federal agency was also forced to deal with allegations of inappropriate conduct by one of its own agents. The agent in question allegedly sent “shirtless photos” of himself to a woman involved in the case before the investigation began, according to The Wall Street Journal."

This is becoming a soap opera. The media is immediately picking up all this trash, but doesn't do much investigating/reporting about why 4 Americans were killed in Benghazi.

Yeah, like that's going to happen!

This guy was shown the door because he knows tooooooo much information. So what do they do? Have him resign....shame him in public over adultry....discredit him for disgracing his family.....and act like he doesn't represent the Administration any longer because he's a cheater. It's the classic Washington case of getting rid of someone who has honor and dignity lest they actually tell the truth.

You don't understand it do you Fro? Patreaus could single-handedly take down the Obama Administration if he wanted to. The quicker they can get him out of town, the better in the eyes of Barack Obama.
Petraeus will probably testify anyway, and my guess is that nothing big will come of it. It will be more of a formality than anything else.

I think the general better check his brake lines and have somebody taste his food for the next few months. Hillary is on the loose now so people will start dying.
