I do not, and have warned liberals against the importation of ideas from other countries which fly in the face of progressive goals.
After all, there have also been calls by conservatives to WELCOME illegal immigrants from Latin America as being "family values oriented!"
That is another discussion, however, so stop deflecting.
From "The Law"; Neo-Liberalism a.k.a. "Progressivism"
“Here I encounter the most popular fallacy of our times. It is not considered sufficient that the law should be just; it must be philanthropic. Nor is it sufficient that the law should guarantee to every citizen the free and inoffensive use of his faculties for physical, intellectual, and moral self-improvement. Instead, it is demanded that the law should directly extend welfare, education, and morality throughout the nation. This is the seductive lure of socialism. … These two uses of the law are in direct contradiction to each other. We must choose between them. A citizen cannot at the same time be free and not free.”
I feel bad for this guy and I think the gay lifestyle is unproductive. This is why I have a problem with the media making everyone a victim automatically. A 15 year trolling around gay chat lines knows what he is doing, to act like he's a victim of some nefarious abuser 20 years later is simply ludicrous.
I've heard police detectives say that pedophiles often take up work where they can be near children, the scout master, baseball coach, teacher, etc... and now apparently, puppeteers.
A 16 year old is most certainly a minor if not a child.
And I don't care if third world countries marry their daughters off at the ripe old age of 10; here in the modern 21st century first world, we don't.
And yet 16 is the most common age of consent among US states.
