Are you familiar with the term androgyny? Ambiguous genitalia?

Back to the judge's ruling. He made the correct ruling. The best solution in this case was to allow the child to use the faculty/staff bathroom. One confused child is enough. The children in the desired bathroom (for lack of better way to explain it) also have rights.

I assumed it was a male child who felt like a female, although that made no sense that a boy's grandparent was who complained.

No, but the TSA does. Thanks to their timely intervention millions of people will be afraid to fly because the maturity level of the people on those machines is such that they will destroy any semblance of self-respect you had up till entering the scanner. But that's not why I posted. You've been on a roll in this thread defending parents of GID children and their parents. Knee jerk and predictable. There is this: at the present time there is no possible way for modern medicine to make a woman into a man and it is only cosmetically possible to make men into women. Given that reality. I do feel that some effort spent in counseling GID patients to work with what they were given, makes some sense. The success rate for sexual reassignments is 50%. Would you accept those odds on your elective surgery?? We are too quick to glibly encourage people we hardly know to start down dark, dangerous avenues of exploration knowing we won't be there to pick up the pieces. That is cowardly in the extreme.

Actually female to male surgery is already a reality. Phalloplasty, where skin is taken from another place, generally the inner thigh. Erection is made possible using the same methods that men with ed use.

Chastity Bono was a woman who had reassignment surgery to become a man. As a she, he did not feel right in a female body. Many thought she was a lesbian, but in reality she was a he in a womans body, now he is a heterosexual.

What methods do you suggest for a transgender person to change their innate physical brain structure?

Lobotomies?

More far right conservative logic (aka ignorance & stupidity).

Apparently prayer works. Just like it works for amputees growing their legs back.
