No, no, NOOOOOOOO. Public sector employees are paid MUCH less, and have awful benefits. The only work in the public sector because of their sense of duty. They would make so much more if they worked in the private sector.

Isn't that what the big-government folks want us to believe?

That's really a naive fairytale and I think deep down inside you know that. You, for example, would fire a liberal from your place of employment without blinking an eye no matter how good a worker he/she was.

Union employees do not know how to be an asset. They are use to being paid high wages for doing nothing.

You can only put those facts out there if you also mention cost of living. If pay is lower, and cost of living is lower as well, it's a win.

So you're saying that anyone that doesn't belong to a union is exploited?

There have been countless studies down on the effects of "right to work" but one undeniable fact, with which no one argues, is that it does weaken unions.

It equates to workers who make $38 a month because states with "right to work" pay lower wages. The more states there are like this, it's a race to the bottom in terms of worker's wages. There's nothing to counter-balance the desire of manufacturing plant owners to pay the workers as little as possible.
Ding, ding, ding.......we have a winner. Yup, they are unable to finance the politicians that keep the union bigwigs fat and happy.

I'd rather have that than have my employer be forced to keep workers that are drunk on the job, knowing they can NEVER be fired.

What do you think that does for moral? Safety? The product? What it means is that you only have the losers left, because all the good employees have gone where their work performance matters. See our public education system to see it in action.

You don't see this in RTW states. Also there are protections set up by the Fed Govt that prevents reckless behavior by employers. I've even sued a previous employer for Unlawful Termination and won.

The Federal and State laws have made Unions obsolete as far as protection and insurance.

People should have the right to chose.

This is total bs. There are No laws to protect the American worker in rtw states; unless you are in a protected class. The threat of lawsuit-that's about it.

The Republicons saw an opportunity to attack Dems and working people and they took it. They live an immoral, base existence, you can't expect any other kind of behaviour from them other than that. So great that unions are standing up for America in the face of the assault by the plutarchs!!!
