And so what?
I've never claimed that blue states are crime-free utopias: I know that several places in such states have high murder rates.
But it doesn't change the fact that the trashy South has a higher murder rate compared to other areas, and the South is composed by RED states.
And you'd still be absolutely wrong.
Did you not bother to actually compare states? I'll concede that Louisiana 11.2 and Mississippi 8.0 are high, but the rest of the south ranks lower when compared to IL, MI, PA, MD, and DC is rated 17.5<<<The worst in the nation.
Washington DC (The Capitol of the Nation, and poster child for disarming citizens) has nearly double the murder rate per capita of Russia. It rivals Mexico!!! That is astonishing, yet not surprising. This is what happens when you disarm law abiding citizens.
You must also take into consideration that northern states are cold, and violence always drops in colder weather.
All you did was validate my point, while trying to support your own.
What? Its like 40 million REGISTERED gun owners I believe at last count. That doesn't even include those that have guns from inheritance or private sales.
I'd love to see the sheeple attempt to disarm the gun owners. Lolol.
I need to make sure I have popcorn when it starts.
Cough... Try 55M
50% of households own guns, and they don't count the children who have guns permitted to their parents.
Except for law enforcement and the military what problems would arise if there were no guns in this country? I suppose we would have 30,000 more people alive every year. What's that, about a million folks in some 30 odd years? I guess people couldn't go hunting. Well, there's always the grocery store. So, what would be the major problem if there were no guns in the citizenry?
Let's see... 1m murders in 30 years vs. 65m abortions in 38 years (95% of which were On-Demand)
One of the problems would be people learning how to make their own weapons of mass destruction. Many would be killed learning this highly dangerous skill. You see there is nothing the government can do to keep people from being able to hit back when attacked..I have several shotguns but if those get taken away I now how to make my own and would.

well, the criminals would still have firearms. also expect the price of electricity to go up as well as there would be no nuclear power plants in operation either.
the amount of wildlife being alive would be alot more since there would be almost no hunting.
with alot more animals alive, expect the amount of people getting killed on the highways to go up as well.
also expect the goverment and police to abuse their power more often on the people as they know that the people could not do anything back to them.

lol, how many unregistered law abiding gun owners in the USA? I would figure that 25% of all law abiding gun owners are not registered at all.
