Oh I agree, I'll never live in NY, NJ, or California. But if these people had their way they would do this type of laws on a federal level.

Actually yes...he would trust his life to a Kimber. Those jam-o-matic P.O.S. 1911s are a sorry excuse. And their s****y magazines.

One NY politician said he hopes this sets a precedence for the rest of the country.

Well...the dumb bastards just snuffed out one of the key ingrediants to get their NY made P.O.S. Kimbers to work even 60% reliable.

Put it in a Springfield or anything else....it's gonna go to 99.99%.

I am honestly surprised politicians in NY are going to be able to pass this. In NYC I could see it getting passed but on a state level? I have a few relatives in NY and they own guns and would never support this and there are a lot of New Yorkers across that state who feel the same.

This is definately a case of the urban blue controlling the rest.

What a amazing thing it would be if mag manufactures got together and agreed to say "ok then any or our products going for sale to NY period will be a 7 round limit and that includes police sales". Don't want to see street police suffer but I would like to see politicians and mayors squirm in the wake of that.

That only leaves two choices for a decent handgun. A quality 1911 .45 ACP with good magazines.......^^^^Wilson 47D and these. Tripp Research Inc. 1911 Magazines

Or a 5 or 6 shot wheelgun...... .38 SPL, .357 MAG or .44 MAG.

I'd recommend S&W and Ruger.

On thing that hasn't even been mentioned yet, .22 pistols like a Ruger MK will be effected also. So EVEN a .22 target pistol is being effected by this. Sports shooters across NY are going to suffer from this but the criminal hardly at all.

Usually that is what it means and that it also means the stupid ban, is well, stupid.
