Labor unions are and have been the biggest racket around, that's why the death of big labor is a welcome thing in this country. This is also why a very small minority aren't able to overpower the America people in things like recall elections in WI.
In some places, it's a FACT, political donations are not allowed to come from union dues, especially if the union is a government one.

How about those guys who were smoking pot in the parking lot on their lunch break. The unions protected them and they got their jobs back. Some will argue that their lunch break is their time but would you want a your surgeon or your nurse smoking pot on their lunch break? And the unions will protect their jobs too.
Meanwhile, who knows what workers do in non unionized workplaces do to get by without working or are allowed to have bad work habits?

If there are more left wing than right wing people, and unions give women and minorities more power, then why is Union membership falling. Either they don't do the above, or people realize that paying someone else to get a job isn;t necessary in this day and age.

So, you don't understand political battles and how it's possible that legislators can and do drill holes and weaken laws, such as "right-to-work"? Right-to-work is the naked antithesis of democracy in the workplace. I thought people in the U.S. were all about democracy?

What is it about unions that affects so many of you this much? No hate for incompetent CEO's and their golden parachutes?

Why didn't the workers report the issues to OSHA?

Sorry but if you're a member you're already a supporter because you don't have a choice, you financially support your union whether you like it or not. You support your overpaid labor union leaders who live a lavish lifestyle on your money.

At least you get something for your money, you know they'll always be someone there to fight to get you more money than you're worth and fight to keep you employed when they should replace you with someone better qualified.

So, union bashers, answer me this.

What do you suppose will happen when all the states are right to work and unions are gone?

Will it be....

A: Companies start paying a higher wage and sharing profits with their workers so they might enjoy a middle class lifestyle?

B: Companies stay the same and workers vote for Democrats that make conservatives clamor for the "Capitalistic Obama days"?

c: The current union members would be forced to actually work and produce, they would be paid according to their value and not their union's ability to force companies to overpay due to the threat of a strike. Non union states would continue to prosper just like non-union employees that already take their own value seriously instead of expecting someone else to fight for them for a monthly fee.
