Kosher restaurants are fully using their religion to promote their food.
Deciding which products to offer for sale is not the same as refusing to sell to someone based on a difference in opinion about values.

That butcher/restaurant will sell Kosher meat to anyone willing to pay for it.

But they won't sell pork which is discriminating against non-Jewish who eat pork.

great, so if the lesbians wanted a wedding cake with 2 women on top, and the bakers said that they dont sell gay or lesbian decorated cakes, then that would be alright with you then?

...he declined to make the brides a wedding cake
We already knew it was two women.

The owner said it doesn't matter. He's going to stand his ground and if he gets punished for his religious beliefs then that is what society has come to.

So is religious persecution making a comeback via Equality Rights ?

Baker refuses to make wedding cake for lesbian couple - NY Daily News
He said he would rather stick to his religious beliefs than make money.
And he added: "If I have to be, I guess, be penalized for my beliefs, then I guess, well, that'll be what it is. My First Amendment rights allow me to practice my religion as I see it."

The baker is just looking for attention so he can further his agenda.

Who were/are they discriminating against?
People who don't want to eat Kosher food?
Again, if a restaurant serves only Kosher food to everyone who patronizes the establishment, where is the discrimination?
If that same restaurant refuses to sell said Kosher food to Christians that would be discrimination, much like what this bakery owner has done.

Get it now?

I would have more of a problem if he was refusing to sell a birthday cake to a person he knew was gay.

Plenty of people do not discriminate against gays but do not believe in same sex marriage. It isn't even legal in that state.
