When the time is right, a new party will rise up to challenge the Democrats. Lets hope the Constitution makes it long enough.

I agree. As long as the average IQ of Americans continues to decline, there will probably be democratic presidents. Issues of "liberty", "personal responsibility", and "opportunity" are difficult concepts to explain to idiots. It is easier to give such "voters" treats, as one would do for a dumb animal who can only understand rudimentary commands.

You mean like how all the holier than thou republicans keep trying to shove anti-abortion bills down everyone's throats ? Or how about the failed "no child left behind" we see how well that worked, you ever heard the saying "People shouldn't throw stones in glass houses" I think that is what the republicans in this country are doing, they took control wrecked the economy and nearly brought the u.s. to it's knees with it's failed policies and now that another person has come along to take over and is LESS bad than the last guy they freak out he's not doing the same failed policies.

O ye, of little faith. The Republicans held onto the house of reps, and millions fewer voted for Obama then last time, which I think is unprecedented.

The trend always has liberals at the bottom 20% or less, on the ideological ladder of public identity.

Here we have the typical conservative refrain. "Oh bo hoo hoo, poor me, I'm a victim of the big bad progressives". "Lost the culture war"? There should never be a culture war in the first place! What is the definition of the "Culture war" anyway? "I want my white Euorcentric, faux Christian culture to be recognized as the superior and default culture in these United States".

I have to tell you that as a Christian myself I deplore the American "Christian right". Other than the fact they claim to be Christians I have never seen one single iota of evidence in the lives of such that they actually are Christians in any way. In fact, in my opinion they are a sort of "AntiChristian" and tend to heap dung on the Gospel of Christ every time they open their mouths.

There are so many things in our common culture that I really hate. I hate gambling and all the damage that does, I hate abortion with a passion, I hate porn and what that is doing to an entire generation of people, I hate the me me me society we live in and the exaltation of the individual above all else, I dispise most of the mass entertainment and the values it promotes.

The difference between myself and a cultural warrior is that I realize that I live in a democracy not a Theocracy. WHAT THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE WANT THEY ARE LIKELY TO GET WITHIN CONSTITUTIONAL LIMITS. I have zero desire to force my values down anyone's throat. The best we can do by far is, firstly to bring up our children in such a way that they will live moral and upright lives and in turn will do the same with their kids, {Maybe, not guaranteed by any stretch}. Then, we can live our own lives as an example of what we believe in. Some will see that and adopt those values and some will reject them. We can actually get out there and get our hands dirty in service to those values we believe in. The majority of those who moan and cry the loudest about the state of our society and culture, "Talk the talk but they sure don't walk the walk". The is no end of things a person can actually do in support of the values they hold but sadly most are just like a clanging set of Cymbals, making a lot of noise but nothing else.

No, it has to do with the government also. When the government confiscate's wages to prop up the big banks, who do we blame?

Your 2nd sentence made me laugh so hard I spilled my coffee.

What percent of the voters in the US voted for him in November ?

Your defense of dear leader is "less bad". LOL.

What is sad is you are so blinded in your partisan blathering that you don't even know what is going on. 15% of democrats are partisan hack lunatics, 70% are just plain stupid and 15% are normal. That is what you are left with and why Obama is in office and Joe Biden is our VP.

True, I don't think we should've propped them up, than again what would've happened had they all collapsed ? Before you start casting stones about the "evil democrats" remember the bailout started under GWB and with bi-partisan support continued under obama. What I would have been more in favor of is after the bailouts we should've taken control of many of these failed companies and either broke them down to smaller companies or nationalized them instead and fired the ceo's and people directly under them.

First who is this dear leader you blabber on about ? Second, keep insulting the majority of americans and see what happens, your party is a failure, you put forth a guy so unlikeable many in his own party only voted for him "because they hate the other guy" But yeah 70% are stupid right ? Keep marching towards oblivion and when you go don't come back. Your party are full of failures, your jesus freak candidate is a hypocritical wannabe facist, Limbaugh is a pill popping druggy, Beck is an idiot conspiracy theorists. And your party's mascot is Palin the big dolt in the sky ! YOU LOST, YOUR PARTY LOST, YOUR POLICIES FAILED, Now be quiet and in the words of the famed tea bagging idiot "GET THE HELL OUT" !
