The two terms are not interchangeable, so either you lied, or you don't know the difference. Either way, you're going against the very rules that you set for the thread. End of story.

As for the rest, if you don't or can't see how you're just spewing talking points based on bias, then there's no point in explaining anything to you - you're done. You don't want the kind of discussion you requested, and I think that's pretty obvious to anyone reading through the thread.

Not sure why I returned to this thread. It's really quite pointless. You're just another rabid lefty that doesn't know the difference between a conservative and a republican, and the LAST thing you actually want is an honest discussion.

Have a nice day.
Ok, it might have been more clear if the original post had stuck to the word Republican or been more specific about the type of "conservative" to which he was referring....that is, the Fox News corporate lockstep lackey, BUT....you know what he meant - and he is is right!

Your post serves no useful purpose but to inflame and to illustrate the kind of mindset that fired the starting pistol at the beginning of America's race to the bottom.

That's a lie. Federal Income taxes are not the only tax and things like pay roll taxes, excise taxes, and tariffs are paid at the Federal level while at state and local level there is sales taxes, property taxes (even if you rent the property tax is bundled in with the rental fee), user fees, more excise taxes, more pay roll taxes, state income taxes, and god knows how many more taxes.

Why on earth would you think the Federal income tax is the only tax? Especially when it was originally designed to only effect the top 2%. True, it's been expanded to cover the top 50% but it was never intended to hit everyone so your argument is a spurious as it is uninformed.

There you go- a strong middle class and the ability of "the poor" to ascend. Keep in mind that we pay the most in the world for education and healthcare. We do not need to throw any additional money at these problems.
Almost none of those are "conservative" position. You seem to want the Federal government dictating what Doctors can and cannot do and telling people what they can't do with their own money, that is not conservative. You want the Feds telling the states what to do which is not conservative. Sorry but small government doesn't mean no government so your desire to do things like eliminate public schools is radical and not conservative.

There is virtually nothing in your screed which actually is conservative.
