So much for the "War on Poverty".

Things have not gotten any better than when it started.
Not that that was the actual goal anyway.

Actually, it wasn't a war on poverty. What Republicans carried out was a "War on the Poor."

I guess we're not exempt from the liberal stupidity on these threads just because it's Sunday.

What you meant to say was, "Sh_t, they won't give us a break from exposing our corruption, not even we go to church."

I'm surprised how many people are stoopid enough to think it will work "this time".

Create a program and then later fix it......fix it.....and fix it again...........and again.

No what I really meant to say is that the collective IQ of this website drops on average five points every time Saritaschihuahua clicks on "submit reply."

LBJ started the war on poverty. Decades later there are still millions of poor Americans. No massive liberal government program ever resolved any social or economic ill that it was created to correct. They just bleed people dry so that liberals and politicians can feel morally superior to those who disagree with them.

Surreal..
I never said it would solve the whole thing. I didn't say it wasn't a small part of it. I just took into consideration the debt in other places.

No, what you're trying to say is, Repukes can't get a word in edgewise to fool everyone, because there she is again exposing our ugly posteriors and everything we stand for.

I'm starting to think poverty is the goal, not the removal of it.
