Not workable.

We would have to deny burial in country for many liberals.

What's wrong with a Bin Laden burial at sea?

When an aircraft carrier goes on patrol, load him on. You can use the catapult to loft him off the ship.

Why not use the fireworks he so obviously loved? Cremate him, load the ashes in the nosecone of a large firework rocket and launch him into a volcano, might as well continue the "fires of hell" theme.
Certainly don't want the ocean, it's getting enough pollution dumped into it.

Is there any legal obligation that anyone ever bury a deceased relative? Can a person be forced into doing that?

Unless they're arguing about who is to going to pay for the transport, I cannot imagine why the delay.
Muslims strive to bury the deceased as soon as possible after death, so this is very strange. Since the mother does not appear to be returning to the USA anytime soon, one would think that she would want her son's gravesite near her. This is one weird family.
Like perhaps some in this country, I think there are political movements that hide behind the cloak of religion. It comes in handy sometimes in getting new recruits and in duping countries that believe in religious freedom.

I saw on news this morning and I always have my doubts since the media loves making up untrue stuff.
Im trying to figure out why are they making a deal of an allege note found on the boat.
Part conspiracy theory of me says this was made up.
The other part was ok did he have note with him before hoping on the boat, when would he have time to write it and carry pen and paper.

People that really want to commit taking of their own lives never leave a note. Just talking about going to heaven and 78 virgins waiting for then, is not enough it's just talk.......

I think the people who were recruited for actual suicide bombers were ignorant folk from the back country of some places, like those who did the Mumbai activity. They might believe in the virgin thing. Their handlers were evidently not so stupid.

These current terrorists are not that dumb. They don't want to die. I think they are mainly politically motivated and just hide behind this religion that is convenient for them in so many ways.
