You might not get your fingers mangled if you read the bible but if you proselytize any religion other than Islam or convert you will find yourself condemned to death.

This is why we want to keep any religion out of government! When there is a theocracy, regardless of religion, there is cruel and unusual punishment.

Many European nations have official state religion (Christianity) - how many times in these nations have you heard they persecute, behead, and kill non-Christians?

Stop making all religions seem bad.

It's not the religion itself that is the problem, it's the flawed human being's interpretation of the religious doctrine, and the endless possiblities of horrific acts one could, without conscious, commit, if they think it's the will of their god or deity.

Yeah, I got that. It was more rhetorical, illustrating my shock at how pathetically primitive the thought behind the comment was.

What, are we a bunch of cavemen? "you break law, I slice your fingers"

Okay, we'll just talk about your catholic pedophiles.
Is that current enough?

Listen to you christians spread your hatred of homosexuals.
It's all from the OT.
Your jesus fella never said a word about homosexuals or women being less than equal.

I believe, wholeheartedly, that proselytizing should bring nothing less.
