Good question because the list below with the number of programs listed does not correlate.

According to what I heard, PA is one of the few states where it's not hard to get on benefits. On the other hand, we don't have millions upon millions of illegals making a beeline for PA, nor does our welfare recipient percentages exceed those of the South

When you see all of the kids at the table stuffing themselves with delicious birthday cake and ice cream provided by a benefactor with bottomless pockets there comes a time when you think you are missing out and you want in on the action!!

You can get the feds to pay for 30% of solar installation, some states like mine will chip in another 20%. Now that you half got half of it paid for you can apply for the green credit program.

The Pennsylvania Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard (AEPS) requires that an annually increasing percentage of electricity sold to retail customers in Pennsylvania is from alternative energy sources. The program requires that retail energy suppliers utilize Alternative Energy Credits (AECs) for demonstrating compliance with the standard. An AEC is created each time a qualified alternative energy facility produces 1000 kWh of electricity. The AEC is then be sold or traded separately from the power. This makes it easy for individuals and businesses to finance and invest in clean, emission free solar power.
These are sold like commodities to power distributors who then pass those costs onto everyone else. I don't know how accurate this was but one person I know was quoted a 7 year pay back, it was all free electric and profit after that.

A lot of states have similar programs but I wouldn't necessarily call it free, it's intended to help preserve farms and natural resources. Here in PA has to be at least 10 contiguous acres. You either have to be making X amount of money from agriculture, harvest X amount of wood or open it to the public. There is few other things you can do with it and this minimum usage is not hard to meet. The buildings on the property do not get a tax break, just the land. Once enrolled you can't develope it and you have to continue to meet those minimum standards. If you want to develope it in the future you're liable for 7 years back taxes and that includes anyone it gets sold too. It a good program if you intend on not doing anything with the land but once you're enrolled you're locked into it.

The ease at which you can benefits from this state is pretty big problem becsue the eastern part is within easy driving distance of NJ, NYC etc. I don't know how it compares to other states but the illegal immigration issue is certainly an issue here.

Go through the list then find out which "benefits" you can apply for to get your cash.

You have a pic of Obama, so are you saying he is responsible for state benefits. Nope, these are done by each state. They pretty much have the same benefits directed at kids and the elderly.

benefits.GOV

.GOV = Federal Government

Obama is the head of the Federal Government

benefits.GOV is a FEDERAL site that lists STATE programs

It is the president's intention to get every American dependent on as many Federal AND state programs as possible.
