I used to be a Christian, that's how I know that they, {not all} are hypocrites.

I can tell you when I began disbelieving in Christianity if you want to hear it. IMO though, religion itself is an abomination upon man.

I think that is the way to go, right?
Good luck instituting these rules into American society.

You clearly have no idea what you're doing or talking about.

Get off welfare and get a real job, dude.

I dunno, but I do know that I'm going to enjoy going to Wal-Greens and buying some snacks on his dime.

Yup, my life is great!

So now that you're an atheist, what keeps you from becoming a Darwinist and believing that only the strong should survive?

It's not some secret society. Pretty much everyone in the Western World knows the story behiind Christianity and its basic tenets. Many, many people who are now nonbelievers once considered themselves Christian. It's nothing mystical.

Well, there are plenty of legitimate reasons a person might have a beef with a religion, but it's paranoid to think that people who disagree with you are "full of hate."

Let's not pretend that Christians in this country are some kind of marginalized, persecuted minority. That's complete and utter nonsense.

Darwin didn't state that; he said the strong tend to be the survivors whose genetic traits are carried on. At least try to get a simple understanding of what you are talking about.

Why is it that Christians believe only they will be "saved" and everyone else will be tormented for all eternity?

Meh. Just about every group thinks that they, and only they, will be the ones saved.

and I say it depends on the individual and the particular religion. But, at least you did answer my question. thanks,

I have found hypocrites in all walks of life and from all religious and non religious backgrounds.
