When Bernie redirects, I want the defense to object immediately when he restates what he Thinks Rachel's answer was before asking the next question. Bernie did that all yesterday because he wasn't sure what the answer was. Sorry about mentioning the trial.
I hope someone can decipher her answers. She mutters and mumbles so much, I really can't understand her.
The prosecution really isn't making much of a case so far. Most of the witnesses either have been very poor (as in unclear, difficult to understand or frequently contradicting themselves or other evidence) or have actually helped Martin (such as the dispatcher). It will be interesting to see the defense witnesses and the physical evidence.
In court the prosecuting attorney told the judge she cannot read cursive. Not being able to read is a disability.
Not being able to read because of a genetic defect, i.e., Downs Syn., is a disability. Not being able to read because you're lazy and refuse to be educated is not a disability. Rachel/DeeDee is NOT disabled.
Wow, it's crazy how you people are crucifying this young girl. It's clear that she's either mentally incapacitated or uneducated (not a crime and certainly not worthy of derision...it's actually quite sad).
She did not ask to be on the phone with Trayvon the night he was killed. But she was and she's in court recounting what happened. It doesn't matter *how* she says it, what matters is that she tells the truth.
Some of you people should be ashamed of yourselves.
No, the only thing that is important is whether she's been told what to say and is lying on the stand.
The truth is what matters.
We know she's lying on the stand. She keeps saying one thing and then a few questions later, admitting another.
Just a couple of examples:
She lied to Crump because he wasn't an officer. She wouldn't lie to officer.
Later she admits she lied to Osteen and Bernie under oath.
She didn't think Trayvon's mom would think creepy ass cracker was offensive.
Later she admits she left out the language because Trayvon's mom was there and she didn't want to offend her.
The only thing she lied about under oath with Bernie was the language, to make Sybrina feel better.
Later she admitted she also lied about the hospital visit.
Her whole testimony has been one contradiction after another.
That is taught in elementary school. Stop with the excuses. They need to learn that type of writing because ALL legal contracts of ANY type need a signature which is cursive, not printing.
Sorry, but not any more. Times are changing. You can even do legal contracts on the PC, didn't you know that?
