You forgot to add the words, "in my opinion". In my opinion the more she talks the more of a liar she appears to be.
I was thinking the same thing, the more she denies the more of a liar she appears. The added comment "I would never lie for anyone" seemed pretty silly and excessive. We all know that there are occasions that everyone lies, and surely she would be a silly woman if she would never lie to protect her husband or herself or other people she loves from some threat to those people.

My opinion is that Rachel was not released because teh State may recall her on rebuttal.
If the Defense calls Rachel, they cannot go into Trayvon's reputation for fighting or anything else unless the Judge rules that the prosecution via some witness put Trayvon's character in issue. I haven't heard that yet, but won't know for sure until there is some sort of new ruling by the Court that reputation/character evidence can be brought out by Defense. Have you heard any new ruling by the Court regarding the admissibility of evidence of Martin's reputation/character? I may have missed that ruling, as I've not watched the entire trial so far.
Did Rachel mention Trayvon fighting during the direct examination of her by the State? I don't remember.
No. And she stated that "if" Trayvon was gonna fight someone he would have told her and gotten off the phone....that in reply to a prosecutor question....Might be enough to have opened maybe...we'll see.
I really think all these "previous" discussions about how to shoot someone are gonna go against George.....including his "knowledge" prior to the shooting.
here is the "double" action....the mechanics confused me last week. But, CD'ers cleared up that it was locked and loaded, ready to pull the trigger.

I thought TM's reputation could not be brought in only during Opening Statements.

the ruling was that depending on what was said during the trial, the info re the suspensions, fighting, drugs, toxicology report, etc., Might become admissible.
