The law is clear, you can't defend yourself unless you can prove intent to do you harm. Otherwise the threat is imaginary.

Hey, I've got the Sanford PD scanner streaming in the background. Let the games begin.

If they throw out a not guilty verdict at 10pm on a Saturday I don't see how they CAN'T have at least some trouble on their hands.
