i lumped "neighborhood watchman" w/ security guard. not sure what the diff really is. perhaps sec guards get more training and has a pay check? training is something GZ was obviously lacking.
but for clarity (for me) was GZ a self proclaimed watchman or was he elected by the neighborhood folks to be the watchman?

When you shoot in self defense it is not the objective to kill, just stop the threat. Unfortunately, in saving your own life, you may have to take the assailants.

Never said it was, but to claim that you don't mean to hurt someone when you shoot them in the chest is absurd.
