He attacked George and attempted to kill him because he was in fear of George using unlawful force?
Some of you are total morons...
Funny that you have the audacity to call anyone "morons". It was Zimmerman that was carrying the loaded gun which in turn, gave him the gonads to leave his vehicle in the first place. Do you understand that? I'll say it another way so that it might penetrate. Zimmerman would NEVER have left his vehicle if he did not have a loaded weapon on him. Now wouldn't even an unworldly five year old deduce that if Zimmerman never left his vehicle, this entire incident would not have happened in the first place?!
Here's another point that has been mentioned countless times...How many people would be stupid enough to not indentify themslelves to the person that they were suspcious of? Would you make the stupid moves that Zimmerman made? Maybe you and others would have, which would explain your support of him and his actions.
I'm talking about events leading up to the fight. I agree that Trayvon should have gone to a neighbor's/called 911, etc.
Can you not acknowledge that Zimmerman failed to do some preventative things that night?
Someone said it earlier but it was so many posts back that I am not going to take the effort to find it. Basically, the gist was that on that evening it was a collision of bad decisions. Zimmerman never should have gotten out of the truck and Martin shouldn't have attacked Zimmerman. At the end of the day, when Zimmerman was attacked, he did have the legal right to defend himself.
Sorry you're unhappy with the verdict. Time to move on.
Tell that to those who still can't accept that we have a Black POTUS. The trial is over, moving on to bigger things. A jury acquitted Casey Anthony and O.J. Simpson. I guess you would call that justice. I don't.
Are you saying because someone pushes you (we know he didn't strike him) that you are justified to put a beat down on them and bash their head into the side walk?
Possibly. Remember, the law states if one "believes" they are in danger. The belief system of a person cannot be objectively analyzed as evidence. Especially if that person does not testify (Zimmerman) and the other person cannot testify (Martin).
Which goes to show that justice isn't always served in a court of law.
