good point. and you can't group all black people with the New black panther party like some posters on this thread. I am proud to say that some of the most outraged people on my facebook feed were white people when the verdict was read. I know not all white people are racist, but, to tie this into the topic of this thread, there were definitely racist white people who were expecting cities to burn and black people to attack and have to be put down like animals.
...yet nothing happened. A little? A lot? Let's be honest. It seemed some posts had a strong tone of cheering for them to happen.
So, in your eyes, why no riots? How could this possibly be?
I am sure the entire country is happy there have been no rioting and hopefully there will not be tonight. Only a totally insensitive person would want to see anything resembling rioting and I don't think a person on this board ever wanted them. Yes, there are some that expected it could happen, I have to admit I was one, but thankfully the citizens, the police and others appealed to the public, not to riot. Thank God it apparently worked.
When one speaks publicly about one killing and not another it's called taking sides......I'm not talking about the first lady.......seems even Beyoncé is getting in on the victim cry and where is her voice about this girl who could sing. Seems Beyoncé had more in common with the young girl, but maybe not!
so because he talked about the shooting at Newtown but not the murder of Jonylah Watkins he was taking sides too?
