I'm not embarrassed. I'm actually happy that there hasn't been major rioting like there was in 1992. Other than the Oakland incident with some vandalism, I'm happily surprised there hasn't been more. The last thing we need is riots. We have been a very divided nation for a long time. Riots would make things even worse.

Thank God I didn't pull an Obama and think riots were likely.
Rioting after the verdict would be too far fetched to imagine, only crazy people would take that leap, after all we never had protests after other verdicts in the US

Anyone with a brain should be embarrassed protests are happening at all. There was a trial, a fair one. Zimmerman was acquitted as the evidence showed he should be. But noooooooo, thats not good enough. The victim was black so there is no way Zimmerman can be innocent

So, in your eyes, why no riots? How could this possibly be?

It appears as though you were wrong. I guess you should be embarrassed.

Obama can't win with you no matter what he does. If he hadn't called for calm and peace, then you'd be here degrading him for not doing just what he did.

Detroit could use a good riot and the Federal funds that follow.

If anything, the media and over zealous prosecutors should be ashamed by this mess.
The media from the start turned this into a racial incident by editing the 911 transcript to make it that he was singling travon out because he was black. Then you have prosecutors up for re-election and what better than to have a high profile case like this under your belt.

It sounds like there is a streak of hatred. I'm well aware of the problems in Detroit, and I'm not wishing anything horrible on Detroit.

I'm not surprised. This is an immature display in the face of a verdict they "don't like". They don't realize that they're protesting the system of justice we have. If they don't like it they should work to change it.

It's time people realized that they don't always get what they want, what they want isn't always right, and being thwarted doesn't justify a temper tantrum that destroys property and hurts others along the way.

What we are seeing is *their* racism (and ignorance) on display.

How do you feel for posting such a dumb thread, and then actualy having a riot?

Quote:

Riots in Oakland in the wake of the George Zimmerman verdict appeared to be
smaller than original reports indicated, with a handful of the 125 protesters
starting fires and smashing windows downtown.
Oakland Riots After George Zimmerman Verdict Were Smaller Than First Reported

They were small, but a riot is a riot....

Now, here comes the "look at the source" BS from the left.....3-2-1...GOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo
