It has to do with regulating the clinics so the provide proper medical care, which is what this thread is about.
I'm even pro choice, but letting live babies die because the procedure did not work and the dr did not have the training/proper equipment to help the baby is un-fathomable.
You realize that the links you posted before had to do with with doctors withholding medical attention and acting criminally, right?
And if you do the slightest bit of research, you'll see that the move in Virginia holds abortion clinics to standards that hospitals do not even have to meet.
Now, if you will excuse me, I'm off to start a movement to close all dental offices because sometimes deaths occur during or as a result of dental procedures held in non-hospital settings. I know you don't care about those who have died but others do!!!!

Feel free to address your concerns with your legislator about dentist offices
Because as a percentage of procedures going to the dentist is much safer.
Life is life. If you want to prevent needless deaths from occurring, then you should be advocating hospital standards (that hospitals aren't even subject to) for dental offices. And not only dental offices but also out-patient surgical facilities.
