Recently in Virginia, a law was passed requiring hospital like standards for abortion clinics and liberals threw a hissy fit. Why do liberals think abortion clinics are above regulations?

For the same reason why conservatives support deregulation for everything except abortion clinics

Link for "liberals support regulations for nearly everything"?

Oh don't tell me, you are just using false generalizations to try and prop up your argument.

Because it affects a women's right to choose, but they have no problem with messing with everyone else's choice for everything.

Something tells me you aren't telling the whole story. Looks like you are next.

I'm wondering, do you have a link where republicans want to deregulate actual hospital procedures? Things like emergency/operating room procedures?

Oh please. Conservatives are just trying to get abortion clinics to close by holding them to standards in architecture, for example, that even hospitals are exempt from.

"Until the law change two years ago, clinics were considered outpatient surgery centers, a classification that includes dental offices, plastic surgery centers, and other doctor's offices. Supporters of the recently finalized clinic regulations consider them necessary to ensure public health, while critics see the new rules as a back-door way to force many of Virginia's 19 clinics to close."
Critics: Va. inconsistently applies health rules to abortion clinics, hopsitals | HamptonRoads.com | PilotOnline.com

I guess the real question is why don't conservatives care about patients at dental offices, plastic surgery centers, and other doctor's offices? What about the standards for patients using these health care facilities?

Maybe because some times babies are born alive after an abortion and require immediate care, unless you think they should be killed after they are born.
