Surely global warming denialists live in daily fear of being forced to pay higher taxes and be forced to live with greater restrictions in their lives, if global warming if finally proven to be true, rather than a hoax.

You mean a single CATASTROPHIC volcano. Things go extinct on this planet when temperatures change... remember the dinosaurs? We don't need to speed up the death of our great-great-grandchildren just 'cuz we'll be too dead to notice.
Carbon dioxide is being trapped in our atmosphere, and it's preventing heat from escaping... I don't care if dinosaurs died from cold; that won't prevent us from dying from heat.
Better find a way to cap volcanos, one eruption can put out more greenhouse gases than mankind has emitted in all its years on earth.
