Conversion therapy has increasingly drawn criticism for its methods. Last year, four gay men sued a Jersey City group for fraud, saying its program included making them strip naked and attack effigies of their mothers with baseball bats.

Like usual your post makes no sense. Simple fact is Christie made his decision off a '09 report by the ACA that used studies from fourty years ago on this type of treatment. That would be like saying I support gays to NOT be married because they couldn't get married in the seventies. Do you and Christie support that too?
The sponsor of the bill called the conversion therapy a form of child abuse.
So now therapists can't do it but what about priests? If they use the same tactics aren't they abusing kids too?
