Fact is if one uses something to the extreme such as weight lifter lifting weights they look different than your average man. One can develop an attribute by use..

If someone doesn't walk because they can't, their legs look different with atrophy and shrivel.. Is that evolution too?

If one does not develop their mind or their spirit they are underdeveloped.. If one is not spoken to in their early years such as children who are neglected in extreme cases, that part of their mind cannot be developed and the ability to speak is lost.

This is not evolution but can be looked at as evolution. If something is under used it becomes underdeveloped.. common sense should prevail in understanding this basic principle.
That's probably the silliest thing I've ever heard, aside from "Why are there still apes?"
If someone had their legs blown off, do you really think their children will be born with no legs? How about their childrens' children?
Damn!

How about we teach:

The universe had a beginning, and there are theorists and scientists who support many different possibilities as to it's origin and how it has progressed over the years but basically the two most popular theories come down to intelligent design and evolution. There is not enough data to prove either 100% so both come down to faith. It's up to you to decide if you believe in the "invisible sky wizard" or if you believe that "nothing + nothing = everything, and thank coincidence for existence" both seem insane and in reality we are just mere human beings who probably aren't capable of grasping the reality of our own origins.
But don't worry, no matter what you believe there will be a large group of people telling you you're wrong and they're right.
Class dismissed.

Not to highjack this thread, but since you threw that out there I'm curious, what's your alternative?

Private schools are way too expensive for a lot of people. Would you rather children be uneducated because their parents can't afford the rates?
Or are you suggesting homeschooling to where children are raised, in many cases, to be anti-social because they never learn how to interact with non-family members their own age?

Or is there another alternative that I don't know about? (that is not a snarky question though I can see how it might sound that way, I'm seriously wondering if there are any other options to private schools or home schools.)

Yes, there are other options to gov't programming of vulnerable minds, and peer pressure from those programmed. Some parents like to control who and what influences their childrens minds and behavior. You shouldn't be threatened by parents making alternative choices. Why should parents have to seek gov't permission to raise their kids outside this system? In other words it's really none of your business how they socialize their kids.

Science is a big field. I don't think classes need to get into evolution of ID. Perhaps these would be classes reserved for college and higher learning.
