California to Ban all Semi-Automatic Guns, Confiscate Firearms and Limit Ammo Sales (weapons, ammunition)

California legislators are in the process of rolling out what will be the strictest gun control laws in the country. Democrat state Legislatures rolled out a list of proposals that will instantly criminalize most of the state’s law abiding gun owners. The new law would outlaw all semiautomatic weapons, criminalize anyone who has more than 500 rounds of ammo, and require a permit to buy ammunition in the future. California, which already has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country, is also looking at a proposal which would call for the immediate confiscation of 166,000 registered modern sporting rifles. This is why people are against Registration!

Most gun violence is with hand guns. I smell agenda. If the Constitution is abridged in one state, all states are fair game

Banning assault rifles is not against the Constitution. Banning all guns, including all handguns, revolvers, pistols, etc. would be.

Actually, I have a prediction to make.

The first state that actually passes a loony tunes law like that, will be the first state to see a 80% decrease in population.

They will all move to another state.

Assault rifles are already effectively banned, and have been since 1934. Even stricter regulations were placed on them in the '80s.

What people refer to as "assault rifles" or "assault weapons" in the context of the proposed bans are actually nothing more than modern sporting rifles, and are functionally identical to a variety of traditional hunting rifles.
