Now I'm forcing thought control onto people! I had no idea I had that kind of power. The fun never ends!

I don't buy their product anyways, so my not buying it now will make absolutely no difference. But his words, that no one forced him to say, might make a difference in his business. It is not a wise business move, is all that I am saying. I said the same thing in regards to CFA. I didn't boycott, since I didn't eat there before the boycott.
I would say the same thing about a company that spoke out negatively against any group, males, females, christians, blacks, whites, asians, native Americans, hispanics, doesn't matter. A business should not alienate any part of their base. No one would have said a word about their commercials if HE didn't say anything about it first.

Who cares? Find something else to worry about. I'm sure people like you had no problem with Million Moms boycotting JC Penney, but if a few gay supporters choose to boycott a company, the world is going to fall apart. Typical hypocrites.

Exactly! With them it only works one way. The gays are constantly trying to "shove their agenda down their throats." When it's the other way around, no one says anything. I'm sick of the religious rite shoving their agenda down my throat too.

Because he feels threatened by gay people.

Honestly, this was an incredibly stupid thing for their CEO to say. There are at least five different brands of pasta at my supermarket, and they're all exactly the same quality. The only time I ever buy Barilla is when it's on sale.

Gay-Schmay! When a company with an Italian name says "classic family" they are distinguishing your home family from your mob family.

Lol at the choice of "shove their agenda down my throat" given the topic of discussion.
