We are on the emailing list and received the notice this afternoon. Any other veteran services around the US closed by to Obama the Narcissist?
Obama's behavior is incredibly repugnant and dangerous. It is difficult to understand how his ardent admirers continue to support him and justify his egregious decisions. Obama is determined to push his agenda by any means necessary.

Again... If tea party types cheer using the shutdown as a threat to push their unilateral demands... then don't be surprised when stuff gets shut down.

Your continuing obsession with a few vets being inconvenienced is amusing. People are being put out of work, vets and seniors are losing their Meals on Wheels, infants are losing their WIC benefits, yet it's the inconvenience of vets not being able to walk around memorials that has you the most outraged. I think you need to reexamine your priorities.
How dare you. We enjoy the freedoms of WIC benefits, jobs and meels on wheels because brave men and women are willing to DIE for those freedoms.
Inconvenienced? Really? Some of those vets have planned and fundraised for those trips for a long time. Now, in what could possibly be their last trip during their lifetime, they're being used as pawns an amateur president's games.
Freedom isn't free. I think it's your priorities that need to be reexamined.
