They feel that way because most liberal Democrats are incapable of caring for themselves. And being very self-centered, they project that same incapability onto everyone else.

Veterans who use the VA paid for that with their service to their country just like a lot of us pay for our healthcare with cash that we work to earn. I'm a vet and I damn sure paid for my VA benefits if I ever choose to use them.

I'm not a vet but I damn sure second that. I proudly pay to help people who served our country.

People who didn't contribute a damn thing other than to produce more babies then teach them to do the same thing. That, I don't want to pay for. Next they'll demand we pay for the music and the wine to go with the night they wh*re around.

And yet a taxpayer who's been paying Federal income taxes all his life is suddenly "too stupid to care for himself" if he falls on hard times and needs help?

OK then.

And Obama is your answer???? BAAAHHHAAAA HAAA, BAAAHHHAAAAA! You don't want to work, you just want to live on the government dole.

It must be one hell of a good life if you keep defending it.

I never said he was. Your vivid imagination just made that up. And I don't know where on earth you got the idea that I want to live on "the government dole." I probably earn more than you do -- and am proud of it.

So what's your answer? What do you tell someone with a pre-existing condition who needs health care but couldn't (before the ACA) get individual coverage?

What do you tell the retiree with lung cancer?

What do you tell the single mom who's been laid off from her job?

What's YOUR answer?

Yeah, life for the average person would be so much better once we get rid of the Islamic atheist Kenyan socialist, and install someone who will be nice to rich people.

If he's paying Federal INCOME taxes he has a job, I would assume that person can take care of them-self.

As a liberal I think government should protect the country, regulate the economy, protect the environment, provide education and health insurance, and build infrastructure. Government should do the big things individuals can't do on their own and government should not do the small things like social issues.
