So, if one has a job one doesn't need collective government services? I guess I'll go play in my private park.

Did you miss the part where I specified that the person had fallen on hard times? Suppose, for example, that he loses his job.

According to you free-market fundamentalists, once his savings run out and if he can't find a new job, he should just starve and die, the faster the better.

Right?

I didn't say that, don't be an idiot. General health insurance for the public isn't and shouldn't be a collective government service.

I don't care about your imaginary discussions about fantasy people.

There are actual stats about.... ah forget it.

Right?
The problem is people think they are guaranteed, even owed a job. The can't understand the basics that the company they work for has to do good or they will be forced to lay them off. Then when they fall on bad times they vote for a government that hurts surviving companies making it even harder for the fallen to find a job. Of the jobs remaining the competition is stiff so the company who knows they are in a bad economy and a president who want to continually raise taxes, the company will not hire and if they must won't pay as much as they would have if the economy was booming.

Obviously you didn't save enough for the rainy day.

Right?
And by the way, when Obama ran around telling you that raising taxes was a good thing, he lost me, the liberal loons who believed the lies he was spewing, well I lost sympathy for them.

I'm doing just fine, thanks -- why do you keep insisting otherwise?
