It was fairly obvious in the 2012 party conventions that the GOP was largely white and grey, in comparison to the Dems. I seem to recall there being some soul searching for a few hours afterwards, about how to expand the GOP tent.
Young voters. How do you feel about this shutdown and health care stand off? Just curious if Ted Cruz i& Co. are winning hearts and minds....
They are too isolated, while unemployed and living in their parent's basement since Obama has been in office, to care about the government shutdown.
I find it funny that libs are more concerned about eddy currents and details than full employment and a prosperous nation. Why? More unemployed, poor people means more democrat votes.

I'm not sure how anyone can differentiate the GOP from the DNC anymore. It's like comparing green apples to red apples. No matter what the color of the two parties, they are both being spoiled by their extreme wings. Both are filled with a bunch of crony capitalists who are controlled by a militarized corporatocracy under the guise of democracy.
To call one party out while not calling out the other is the definition of being hypocritical. Tyranny is rampant in the Emerald City on the Hill, and the Constitution, along with out rights, is being intentionally emaciated.

Ah, Ted Cruz! My favorite Hispanic-Canadian! I doubt Teddy is winning the hearts and minds of the young, but among the heartless and mindless, he's making great strides. I do believe he's got the Zombie vote locked up!
The huge problem for Cruz is that his political career is going to outlive his fanbase. It might be a good short term plan to appease the lunatic teabaggers but when they all start to die off in a few years, it will be hard for him to come back to the realm of the sane.
