Ah, the Palestinians. They never miss a chance to miss a chance, do they? What better response to a peace initiative than riots and killing...

They, they, they, they... It's always "they," like it's all of them, every Palestinian sympathizes deep down in his heart with the wildest fantasies of Hamas because it's ingrained in their evil Arab blood or something, right? On the other hand, there's good reason to believe that the current round of talks won't bring any meaningful agreement, as neither of the 3 leaders enjoy sufficient legitimacy with their own people.

Eventually you might have to acept that the majority of Palestinians are happy with the situation....

They DID vote for Hamas.

'We will Kill for Peace' is their new slogan.

Yeah, you're right. "They" didn't do it. It was ten thousand Jews dressed up as Arabs. After all, the correct response to any peace talks with a slim chance to succeed is violence and death. That'll show the world how ready the Palestinians are for statehood.

Is violence in death what they were engaging in, or were the protests largely nonviolent? And how many of the "tens of thousands" were there not because they were against peace with Israel, but because they may have thought the current round of talks were useless and opportunistic? Some were chanting "death to Israel" but the article doesn't say how many. How many Palestinians are there? More than ten thousand, right? ... No... I forgot, the country's entire population showed up to declare their hatred of America and Israel. Every single man, woman, and child in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

I see. You represent the Palestinian Silent Majority.

Why don't they vote?

Hopefully they do, but we already went over the whole "corrupt, incompetent Fatah" vs. "domestically semi-benevolent but belligerent and violent towards Israel Hamas" election battle, I don't feel like going over it again.

But it's Israel's fault. You've got the energy for that, surely.
