A man and a woman are the required, crucial, and ONLY possible ingredients for marriage.
Your question has been answered, twice now, and you obviously do not like the answer or were expecting a reply that you did not get or want. If you are unhappy with the answer then don’t ask the question as the answer may not always be to your liking especially when you answer your own question. You can continue to ask the question as many times and as frequently as you desire, the answer will always remain the same.
That is not an answer, it is an assertion. Why is it that a man and a woman only are required and why is it crucial and the only possibility? Same sex marriage is not new and has existed many times in the past in many different societies. Procreation is not an answer, so do not try that one.
No it does not. Is a marriage without children still a marriage? Yes. Is a marriage of two sterile people a marriage? Yes. Is a marriage of two senior citizens a marriage? Yes. So why should not two men or two women also be a marriage?
Why is it that a man and a woman only are required and why is it crucial and the only possibility?
Marriage is the joining of the two sexes. Anything else is not, nor will it ever be, marriage. If you or anyone else does not like my answers then don’t ask!
Perhaps you can take the time to answer my question that you dodged from post #441:
Why make marriage the only qualifier for benefits? If you believe in equality than singles should receive these benefits as well too.
