Police have gotten too carried away with their expanded powers in this country. Next time, they'll be a lot more polite about apprehending someone.
Barging in on someone with a no-knock warrant over some weed is ridiculous anyway.

i also agree with the grand jury, and i also agree with tablemtn, the cops are not going to get more polite in regards to this ruling, they are going to get more aggressive. more body armor, flash grenades, stun grenades, tear gas, perhaps even mini tanks to bulldoze a front opening to the house when serving such a warrant. the courts erred in allowing these warrants to happen.
It would help to be Arnold, or better yet Shaq with that. I think the BAR was mostly fired from prone, but good point about the need to anticipate that these thugs will have vests on. Gordon Liddy was flamed by the left for recommending head shots, but to my way of thinking, if you're a Jew facing a Gestapo, you do whatever it takes to kill that bast***.
It would help but, Clyde Barrow was not a big stout man at all. 5'7" and 145#. The BAR was his friend and the feds feared it.
Apparently you're the only one that didn't catch on that I was referring to recoil.
Anyway, I'm surprised that this guy made it out alive. After he killed the cop, any of the other offers could have had killed him at any moment armed or not and would have gotten away with it. I'd bet, legal or not, the next time something like this happens, the suspect isn't walking out alive...

The grand jury just ruled that there wasn't enough evidence for Capital Murder charges. I would bet my bottom dollar that his will face a lesser murder charge. The government will not allow a police officer to be killed like this. This guy will be convicted of murder.
