How in the hell can you get 2/3 of the House to pass the Amendment AND 2/3 of the Senate to pass the Amendment AND 3/4 of the States to ratify the Amendment. Hell, not even one of those have a chance of happening and you would need all three.
Do you really think there's any real chance it won't be legal everywhere in the country within 5-10 years? If not, why are you continuing to make such a big deal out of it?
I am a supporter of gay marriage, but I think that they might simply be trying their hardest to stick to their (IMHO, misguided) principles.
