In your post, you tried to make it a bad thing that a seven-year-old used his stepfather's surname, and that a little boy went by a shortened version of his given name, generally called a nickname. Like Robbie is sometimes a nickname for Robert.

I don't have specific numbers, but its my understanding is that Trinity tithes their offerings to OCWM, which if true would mean over 100k a year.
The largest worship attendance, membership and OCWM giving congregation, Trinity UCC in Chicago, was a new church in 1962. Three of the largest UCC congregations; Trinity UCC, Victory UCC, and Cathedral of Hope have been new congregations in the past 50 years. Seven of the present fifteen present UCC congregations were new churches.
Many, including Gray, point with appreciation to Trinity UCC's generous support of denominational and ecumenical ministries. From 2003 to 2007, Trinity UCC gave more than $3.7 million to Our Church's Wider Mission, the UCC's shared fund for connectional mission and ministry.
But what we DO have is Rev. Wright's own admission that Trinity UCC is based on Cone's racist rhetoric:

The funny thing is its all over the internet. Today all you have to do is make a claim and it can be seen as truth. Barry Soetoro, Barack Hussain Obama uses this tactic all the time.

Go ahead attack Obama all you want. Even attack Trinity UCC is you want. But if you attack them then at least make it based on facts. A lot of people attempt to demonize Obama based on his membership at Trinity UCC. Often however they do based on false information, like it is a black separatist church. That is just blatantly false.
