They've been cited in multiple sources, including footnoted sources, none of which anyone has been able to disprove.

You just want to walk it back because it exposes Obama for the racist that he truly is.
I did provide links, you just refuse to believe the actual book as a source. Your statement should read anti-"white racist" not "anti-white". Dr. Cone has no problems with European Americans in general, as long as the are rejecting white supremacy.

NO.

Rev. Wright's own words:
Quote:
"The vision statement of Trinity United Church of Christ is based upon the systematized liberation theology that started in 1969 with the publication of Dr. James Cone’s book, Black Power and Black Theology."

Why bother associating with a racist ideology, at all? Hmmm...???

The core of the sentence:

The vision statement of Trinity United Church of Christ is based upon the systematized liberation theology.

Walking it back after the fact, of course , because it makes Obama look like the White-hating racist he truly is.

The Rev. Wright post I quoted was from 2007.

Where governments lie, god does not lie. Where governments change, god does not change. Let me leave you with one thing. Governments fail. Government is bad.

So lets vote to let them take more of our money like you did with Obama.

I really do have to ask why some of you are defending a KNOWN racist? Quotes and links have been provided. Attempt at walking back the racism has been exposed.

Methinks thee doth protest too much.

You've had the plain, unvarnished core of the sentence laid out for you multiple times. And yet you won't address THAT. Because you have an agenda, and the FACTS don't support your agenda. So you keep trying to draw everyone's attention to Cone and your perception of his racism. But you ignore the FACT that Cone is just one of several scholars and writers on the subject of Black Liberation theology. That's right, just one of several. What say you about the others?

Ooooh, more misdirection. Smoke and mirrors. Don't look at the facts, think about racism, get emotional, don't be rational. Look, over here, over here!

Not at all. The dates tell all. Racist in 2007. Attempt to walk it back in 2008. All documented with links.

Not smoke and mirrors. Direct quotes from multiple footnoted sources, NONE of which have been discredited.
