why are they posting this stuff? what is the purpose?? who does it serve? sometimes I think it is true we are plain stupid, I see no good come out of this. We have stopped the tactics - so why are we bringing up old stuff?
To inform the American people exactly what the CIA and our government was up to so it doesn't happen again. Feinstein and others were infuriated at some of the actions by the CIA and she is normally a supporter and one of the more reasonable democrats, this is just the summary that was scrubbed from the 60,000 pages.
What's the purpose of holding the CIA accountable for it's actions the last 10 years?
I am not happy at all. I am ashamed on behalf of the nation that has been my home for the last decade. I am ashamed that this was done in my name.
We were tested on the courage of our convictions, the strength of our principles. As a nation, we failed. There is nothing to be happy about here.

Ehm - no. Principles are what rules your behavior when faced with an opponent who won't remain civilized. When the jihadists release their next video of them beheading an American, while stating that this is revenge for our "torture" techniques, I hope Ms. Finestien and the senate democrats and anyone who supports it has trouble sleeping.

Clean? No. protecting Americans against terrorist that have a sole purpose of killing Americans is not clean. You are deluding yourself if you think it can be done cleanly.
